Doctors will hold a press conference at 9 a.m. local time to provide details.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm4i7hrtq00043b6mtzpt5vtz@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Lula underwent an MRI late on Monday in Brasilia after suffering a headache, which detected an intracranial hemorrhage. He was transferred to Sao Paulo for surgery at the Sirio Libanes hospital.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm4i7gxi600003b6msduyor8l@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Lula fell at home in late October and suffered a small brain hemorrhage and trauma to the back of his head that required stitches.
